Believe it or not, we didn't go out this weekend. The weather looked like crap and sometimes there are things that need to be done, unfortunately. Thought I might share with you a little quest my friend is currently in the process of completing. Alan and I were on Denali together and have corresponded some over the years. He is raising money for Alzheimers through his quest for the 7 summits. He just topped out on Mt. Vinson the other day and has a really incredible blog and website. You should give him a look/see. He has an ambitious goal but is truly undertaking the project for altruistic reasons.
Next weekend we have reservations at Cumberland Gap. Although the cabin is full, there is plenty of room for tent camping outside. Don't be afraid.
